Type of cash down for a ZL1?
Hi Guys,
I'm hope to be buying a SS or ZL1 this upcoming spring/summer. I was wondering what kind of cash people have put down for a ZL1 if financed. Hoping some are willing to share. Thanks, Eddie |

The green kind
It all depends on your financial situation and how much you can afford each month really. I put nothing down on my SS and know people that put nothing down on a ZL1. |

i'm shooting for 40K down, guestimating delivery about next APR/MAY timeframe, even then, i'll be borrowing about 25K because of the damn taxes! "permagrin" should alleviate the financial pain though.

$2,000. I could have done the financing with nothing down. I feel that I payed the GG tax.

That's why I'm going for a V6! Can't wait to finish a career, hopefully get a good job, and be able to put a 30 or 40k down payment on a car.

10K down plus my trade value.
In before the "if you can't pay 100% down you should not buy" post. My suggestion is to figure out what payment you are OK with and then decide what it is going to take to get there. I talked with a guy over the weekend with a SS car payment that is higher than my ZL1. With good credit; interest rates are good so why liquidate cash even if you have it. I could have put more down but wanted to keep the money in the bank. Just my opinion.
