Purchased ZL1 rims for my 2013 2SS RS

Anyone know what's up with these recesses around the back side of the hub of the OEM ZL1 rim where the studs pass through. My SS rims do not have this.

I've been told this is a production thing. Holding the rotors on the rims during assembly? Also, I'm looking at installing a 275/40/20 on the front 10" rim and a 315/35/20 on the rear 11" rim. Any one had fitment problems.
I expect to have to tie wrap the e stop cable in the rear.

Also, do I need new lug nuts or will the SS lug nuts work. They seem a little short, like they may bottom out?

While I cannot speak on whether the lug nuts will fit, I run a 20/40/275 and have plenty of room to not worry. The front as far as I know can fit up to a 275 without rubbing often and with the rear being somewhere in the 300s. I don't know how much power you push out of the wheels but I run a 275 all the way around so that I can rotate the tires to get more life out of them. I do not have problems with traction currently, even took it up the tail of the dragon and it did pretty well.

Yes lug nuts will fit. I did the same when I put 2013 OEM ZL1 rims on my 11 SSRS.

My suspension was stock so I don’t have the ebrake problem. Simple bolt on and lug exchange.
