I had to use it for a while when the Body Control Module died and the stupid dealer took 3 attempts to find the problem and fix it. I no longer use that dealer and would put him out of business if I could.

You gotta try it at least once to make sure it works. I haven't had a keyfob battery failure yet so I haven't had to use the key to get in.

Got to love the keyhole behind the rear seat for the trunk....that was defective when I bought it....took some effort to replace it at the dealer
