The eternal buyers remorse is at its peak.
I bought my 2014 Crystal Red SLT RS fully loaded last April and I love the car under 10k miles on it. The looks, the tech, everything about the car is incredibly. However, driving home that night, I started thinking about how I should have gone with the 2SS. But hey, still has plenty of power and can use regular unleaded.
Still been eating at me and I am thinking of going to check with a dealer on what they can do to get me into a 2015. I figure this would be a good time with the 2016 around the corner and I like the current models look much better. My buddy getting a 2010 2SS with Cat Back, Headers, and CAI didn't help me in anyway either! So I am hoping I will be a new 2SS owner soon. Hopefully, they can find me pretty much the same model as mine with the CRM in a 2SS. Shame the 1SS doesn't have leather. I am not that worried about NAV or the Sun roof, but would be nice but can without. Really want that power and have the options to really have some fun. Such an awesome car

Once u have the 2ss u will want the ZL1. I know I do, But I’ll tell u, I love my 2SS/RS. 8k miles later, and I still stare at it like if it weren’t mine. Makes me Happy as the day I brought it home. U might get less on the trade, but what really matters is that your happy with what u drive. I’ve never considered the v6 as a buying option. Just wouldn’t be the same. Good luck to ya.

You only live once. Now is a great time to get a deal on a 2015 SS. Good luck, hope you find the car of your dreams! You won't regret it.

No disrespect, but if you were second guessing yourself the night you drove it home you should have thought about what you really wanted a little more. If you don't mind paying what it will cost to get into a 2SS, then go for it.
I've done a few mods to my 2015 V6 and love it the way it is. Runs great, looks great, and sounds great. I've thought about an SS but as a daily driver this car is just about perfect. |

Not only higher payments, but higher insurance, higher gas and lower mpg.. Sure the V8 has a lot going for it, but I love my V6 and I've been very happy with it from day 1.

You got to pay to play. If the trade off is premium gas vs 87, and a couple mpg decrease, then it's a no brainer. Get the car you really want; the one with the V8.

It's a Camaro, it has a bowtie on the grille, it looks sassy and it handles. Learn to love it!

Supercharging the v6 is cheaper than upgrading to the v8 and probably a lot more fun when you see peoples reactions

As others have said, do what makes you happy. I only suggest that you really think this through. If you just want more power, look at power adders to the V6. If the idea of the V8 is what is fueling this, then you will have to get an SS. If you are going to get an SS, do you want better handling, and if you do, consider a 1LE. It is a big jump to the ZL1, and that has never interested me, but as mentioned it has others. All I am saying is make sure on this move so you get what you want, with the options you want, so you are not doing this again in 2 years!
