Its very cool and a great price when you compare it to the supercars, but its overpriced when i think about buying two SS 1LE's for almost the same dough...

If one cannot afford it, then sure the SS is the way to go...for those that can stomach the coin, it's a steal. Especially if you are a regular track appearance. |

got my SS 1LE for $2k off.... across the street they have a $5k markup on a freaking Fiesta ST. lol! c'mon FORD! I would've considered a GT350 over the 1LE if it had been about $5-7k more... but over $15k more? no way dudes.
if I hadn't blown so much cash buying and selling a new Porsche a few months ago (to buy the 1LE), I would totally be getting this car. i'd love to get one and it's 1/2 the price of the Porsche GT3 i'm aiming for.... 1/2 the price and with so much performance is a little tough to argue with. |

I hear what you are saying, but that is like saying buying two imitations for the price of the real deal.

If that's what you're worried about then this isn't the car for you. Get a regular ZL1 and be plenty fast around any track and still have fold down seats.

I know I always go on a diet and lose weight before I drive the ZL1 so it will be faster.

This LE will rip the balls off a Porsche that costs twice as much. Love that!

LOL lets hope they listen. Did they do big ADMs on the Z/28s? I guess I don't remember as I was stuck in my 5.0 back then and can't remember it being such a huge deal like it has been with the GT350.

There are ZL1s (Both Auto and M6) sitting on Chevy dealer lots. My M6 sat on the showroom floor for 4 months and the Automatic sat outside the showroom in the elements for a good while before I found it. The tremendous performance capabilities of the 1LE won't change the fact that most simply cannot afford these cars and therefore I truly believe they will be there to be had for all who want and can afford one. I wouldn't be impatient. Plenty will sit and will go for well under MSRP. Chevy just hasn't created the marketing buzz to justify a craze or mark ups nation wide. I have never seen a commercial for the ZL1. With all that said, I love the idea of the car. It's not for me, but love the fact they are building this.
