MyLink issues... already?
Only 1,500 miles on my Gen 6 and my MyLink system freezes up and is unresponsive for "a while", then suddenly wakes up. Feels like a PC from the 90's.... anyone else experiencing issues? Taking into the dealer on Friday for a check up.

I thought I read something on here about a system refresh? Something the dealer can do for you, I mean.

Thanks, I'm hoping dealer can just refresh or update the system. It has frozen 3 times so far at start up without my iPhone5 plugged in, plugging it in then does not make a difference.

Oh yeah, all of the above. Soooo frustrating. And sometimes I get "audio off" and literally NO sound. This happens randomly with no sort of pattern I can figure out so I don't know what causes it. I just have to wait it out until sound comes back on its own. I've tried every on off, unplug and plug in I can think of. It just has a mind of its own. Ugh!! I LOVE my car but MyLink can be pretty annoying at times. Any recommendations are welcome.

It’s good to see that you’ve been able to make an appointment at your dealership for your Camaro! I can understand how frustrating an unresponsive MyLink system might be, and do apologize for any inconvenience it may have caused. If you have any questions during or after your visit to the dealer, please don’t hesitate to ask. Have a great day, Angela O. Chevrolet Customer Care |

my link went down for a week
i had to take my car in to the dealer and ended up with a rental for a week old car. Some module went in mine and they had to wait for the part to come in. MyLink working fine now. Next step is the rail dust that has bonded to the clear coat.

When mine was a little over a week old, mine wouldn't come on, I just had the My link icon sit on the screen. After driving a few miles, parking it, come back out, it comes back on. Only did it twice so far. Ask chevy about it, wanted me to leave the car, um, I don't like leaving my car at any dealer. so many things happen, scratches, bumps, etc. Friend of mine had his ZL1 damaged once, some idiot salesman backed into it on the backlot! hasn't been the same since.

Dealer should be able to look at it. If it is jacked its not a crazy task to replace it.

LOL I haven't touched the mylink or DIC since I brought the car home. Spent an hour and a half reading the manual and was more lost then when I started. Soooo it just stays where it is. LoL

Well, 1,000 miles on the car and MyLink went belly up this morning. It froze and wouldn't respond to touch inputs at first. Now it's stuck at the screen warning me of taking my eyes off the road.
Is there a fuse that can be pulled to essentially "reboot" the system? I called two dealers about bringing it in and they're telling me they're a week out on appointments. Ugh, the joys of owning a new car. This is why I work on my own junk. |

I had looked for a fuse to pull instead so I didn't lose any other "settings". By the time I messed around with that the MyLink started working again. Buggy.

What's the build date on yours? There was a software update before the AA update that fixed a lot of these random issues.
