Has any of your previous camaro's had a clothes bar? Because i've owned a 3rd gen and 4th gen and I dont recall ever having a clothes bar. Are you sure you weren't looking for a cadillac ATS?

There was a member on here looking for a solution very similar to this. Wonder if he found a solution.

Use the coat hangar hooks.

Get one of these. Or 2, and then put a bar between them.

I have one in my G8, and it's great.

Yup... this what I did to fabricate a clothing bar for my 4th Gen.

Get one of these wooden dowels with a 1" diameter at any hardware store, cut it to the appropriate length and drill a vertical hole thru it at each end.

Cut up a wire coat hanger, pass a short length of wire hanger through each hole and bend it around so that each one slides over each of the coat hooks in the back. The custom cut dowel is now suspended at each end by the length of coat hanger hanging on the coat hooks... or you could try screwing one of these into each end of the dowel making sure you can place the loop of the eye hook over the coat hook...

Good luck!

Best regards,

Elie

Ummmmm....There are no coat hanger hooks....Which is why I laughed earlier.
Search 20171LE's epic rant on this from a few weeks back along with suggestions

Excellent. I can use one of those. Solves my problem.

Now I have to figure out how to get the headrest out to install it.

The problem with this world is stupidity.
I'm not saying there should be penalties for stupidity,
but why don't we just take the warning labels off everything and let the problem solve itself.
