I hope folks realize how important C5, C6, and C7 are for both the consumer and the manufacturer.

I, too, have black mosaic. I finally was able to wash it yesterday and pulled it into the garage and look over the whole car with a light. Yes, it is perfect. Paint in all the right spots and all the panels are good. I did notice that the front bumper is painted a little different from the rest of the car. I can't notice is without the light. I have read other threads where the hyper blue cars have shade differences. I only notice a difference in the flake content. I think the paint problems with our Black mosaics are pretty much over. There will always be the one that they mess up but not like the early builds.

I'm glad your replacement car is perfect. I also ordered mosaic black. My TPW is 4/4 and from reading other members responses I'm guessing they are being painted properly now.

My Mosaic has some light base issues on the trunk lid and latch area, but not very much.
One place I am wondering about is the roof ditch molding on your new Camaro. How is the paint there?
Mine, and every Mosaic I have seen, have the light base coverage issue in that specific area. Even the regular black ones I have seen have that issues.
That was the one spot I forgot to check. It does have that very thin line. Nothing that's really visable unless your specifically looking for it though. I would be willing to bet they all have that, just more noticeable on the blacks.

I know what it's like driving a car you want to love, but can't due to "something".

Now you can drive the crap out of it with a Permagrin!

I did find a spot where someone at the factory ran a rotary over a small area. Some holograms. Two step polish then jewel the paint with my PE14 and PE8 using Buff n shine Jeweling pads and either Menzerna 3800 (4500) or Opitima finishing polish. See which one looks better. Then I'm going to go ahead wth Gtechniq Crystal Serum and EXO.
That's the plan for now. My son just picked up a red 2014 Hyunday 3.8 R spec with 1400 miles I may use that for a Guinea pig with the coatings first, so the plan for mine could change.
