Good first morning of 2013. Gee that sounds unlucky, so this year better try really try hard to be a good one. It is foggy here this morning and cold. I have no big plans for the day. Just the traditionsl southern meal of greens, ham & black eyed peas. The money & good luck this meal is supposed to bring for the new year has not been working out all that well the last couple of years but who knows, maybe things could have been worse. Here's hoping this is a great year for all my friends here. Coffee time now!

I had a GREAT New year's Eve. Went to my girlfriend's house, we ate, drank, and watched chick flicks.
This morning, I had storybook duty for her 19 month old twin girls while she made breakfast. I read every Dr Seuss book they had - twice Fun way to start a new year...
I'm counting on 13 to be a lucky number for me!

I could have retired Two years ago. I like my Job and make good Money so for now I'm staying on the payroll. More Money for MODS YEHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Glad you had a good New Year's Eve & morning LBM. moserbe.........go get your permagrin on. Cruise, or do something to your Camaro or buy something for it. Or just sit & look at it & enjoy your day! I'm glad you have a job you like Skipp. I like my job too but it is also very stressful at times. So when I can, I am retiring. I'll find other ways to make a little extra $. Make & sell crafts, fudge, a part time job???????? I'll figure it out. Good evening crew. I was just about to throw my laptop out the back door but I got a little help from my friends on C5 I it may survive until I can get a new one. Sometimes I really hate technology & being tecnologically challenged. But it is better now.

Deep cleansing breath....................in through the nose & out through the mouth. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Yes, better now.

Since I didn't put up a pic on Friday, I need to make up for it... My friend's twins! I was sitting on the couch, and they would walk toward me, and I would say "I'm gonna get your tummy!!!" they would walk backwards until they fell down, then laugh hysterically and do it all over again. That age is so fun!

Took 90% of the outdoor Christmas decorations down. I'm leaving the lights in the back yard trees and bushes. Been going down to 32* here at night, which can be harmful to those desert plants. The lights, along with coverning the plants, will help "warm" them during those cold nights.

Guess it's back to reality Wednesday. But I have a week and a half to go until my first vacation. Auction week is here January 15-20th, and I haven't missed it since I moved out here.
