Camaro ss 2013, ls3 feels slow.

i have a 2013 ss manual...
im putting regular gas in here in nj..lately my car has been feeling a big slugglish and slow.
im in 2nd or 3rd gear and it takes a few seconds for it to actually start kicking and moving. im at 3k miles, no service or oil change yet because ive been extremely busy with work and school.
would it be that im putting regular and not premium gas in and that i havent changed the oil or have it serviced?
Its not really in my head either, my friend who got in the car the day i had it and got in the other day agreed that it isnt moving quick at all..

any ideas what it can be?

Yes it is the Octane of the gas that switch the computer in to limp mode. use premium and do the fuse pull....search it...and all will be well. Also took about 5k miles on my car to really wake it up before I modded it.

ill be honset, ive had a ton of LS GMs, including two first gen CTSVs which are similar to the LS3 SS. the camaro seems like it takes a lot longer to get going, and not nearly as fast. not sure why, but just my two cents.

no you need premium fuel in it when you do the fuse pull

I wonder why your putting regular in instead of 93 octane?

My guess is the 87 is causing some sort of detonation putting the computer in limp mode and probably making your knock sensors go crazy which will probably retard the timing.

Do you guys think this would be fixed with the first tank of 93 and a fuse pull? I don't know but it seems like it would take a couple of tanks to get the other stuff out of the tank and lines.

Run 2 tanks of 91 or higher and then do fuse pull.

So we are still having to do fuse pulls even in the 13's? OP I have a 2011 SS L99 and a fuse pull made a world of difference for me. But I have one of the worst years that it affects. Yo have to completely have premium in the tank and fuel lines+1 fpr at least one tank of premium run through before fuse pull, but its so eay to do, fiil it up ant try it.

I could be crazy, but my LS3 seems to like the 93 octane from Shell the best. Maybe I'm just imagining it.

Another thing I'll add to this conversation - turn your nannies off the next few times you drive. You do this by holding down the traction control button for seven seconds - at which point two orange lights will show up around the tachometer. Here's the thing - the nannies mess with your throttle. When the nannies sense even the slightest chance that you'll spin the tires they reduce engine RPMs making the engine seem less responsive. I really hate it when I'm pulling out in traffic and the nannies reduce the throttle - really annoying. The engine seems free with them off and my take offs and shifts are smoother. Someone is going to immediately tell you that turning the nannies off is dangerous. But if you're driving to work on a sunny day, and you're not taking corners, there's absolutely nothing to worry about.
