Not sure how others do it, but a piece of advice I can give you on the oil pump....it is a BITCH to get on. The way I did it was I actually disassembled the pump and built it on the crank. It was MUCH easier this way instead of trying to line the teeth up and keep the pickup tube inside the hole. Then once you get the body of the pump on and the O-ring is not crushed, install the 2 inner rings and put the face back on. Use blue loctite on the body bolts of the pump. The screw going from the pickup tube to the pump is plain retarded. I have no idea how many times I threw that POS across the garage and into the wall. Still have the dents on the wall to prove it. ::tear:: Good luck man!

Morning guys, going to finish eating breakfast, drink a monster and attack this thing again, last night that damn negative battery cable run was giving me the fits so after cutting my fingers a couple time I hung it up. As far as the oil pump, i have three rings at this point, one black one that came with the install kit for the cam, and two rings that came with the pump itself, just need to figure out which one works better I guess. I work with hapisok and will probably disassemblen the pump to get it in there. So like I said, pretty much about to drop the oil pan and try to get that last batter cable bolt off on the drivers side. Again, all tips, tricks, advice and words of wisdom are more than welcomed, I have till Monday morning 0630 to get this done. Alright, time to work.
