Have you decided what tires you're getting?

Probably Bridgestone S04 pole position. They're not gonna last a year. So I decided to go cheaper. Would have liked the RE11 but it being my daily driver.
Gonna go 285/35 or 275/35. |

I'm going to run replica C6 Z06 18" rims for drags. Try looking for that. They are about $190 a piece at factoryreproductions.com

It only comes with a helmet mount (sticky), head band mount, and one other I cant remember what it did. I purchased the suction cup mount ($30) and it was good quality. You can buy the bar mount I have seen lots of after market ones. As for the GPS SW I have not tried it yet. I did try the WiFi option to connect to your phone, it was easy but to transfer a video is a joke cause the videos are too big and it would take too long (kill your battery). You are supposed to be able to control start and stop with your phone through the WiFi but unfortunately I have not tried it so not sure how well it works. The mount is your standard video camera mounting thread size so I think its pretty universal as far as mounts are concerned. Over all I am happy with it but to each its own. Go Pro has more of a following... |

My GoPro will fog the case if left on and in the water proof case. They give you another that is not completely sealed but I don't like to use it. The wind noise is too much. Videos look good. For some reason I can see them on my phone but not my iPad. Next time I'm gonna try to get some vid of the rear suspension in action. It was cool to see the front.

Great review Jerry, thanks!

I really like that the Sony has the GPS software to use for telemetry. I'll probably end up buying a GoPro this weekend since I can buy everything I need locally. So everyone can expect the new GoPro with GPS to come out by next week. |

I have not had the fogging problem with my GoPro, but I have not used it on an especially cool day and I would think that would be the most likely time for it to happen. Also the new Hero3 has a seal around the lens which minimizes the fogging.

Welcome to the forum. Always good to meet new people. We usually meet up Saturday nights at A&W on Saratoga around 8:00 pm. We also do an Autocross event the first full weekend of the month at Waldron Field. Hope to see you at the next get together.
