I use mine all the time. I have it set to where it shows the speed and the RPM. So I rarely look at the actual speedometer. Then when I get in my truck it feels weird not having my HUD.

My wife never uses it. She thinks it is a distraction right in front of her, when she needs to be concentrating on what is happening on the road.

I agree with her. The 10's don't have it, but I've driven a couple of other Camaros that do, and I found it distracting. I'm sure I would get used to it if I had it, but I'm glad I don't.

Is this thread a jab at 2010 cars? How about 1ss and 1lt cars?

when I drive my next door neighbors Camaro with it...it weirds me out. I'm probably the only one

I thought the HUD was a bit of a gimmick, when I first bought my car. However after a few miles, I realised it really is a good idea, and like many have said here, I don't even look at the analogue speedo, and rev counter clocks anymore.

I never use the actual gages. I use the HUD or DIC. I keep them both up.
And the HUD with the Tach.

When I had my Corvette I rarely ever used the HUD. Now in the Camaro it is the bet mod I have done. The biggest reason is because the huge speedo needle makes it near impossible to use it - and I like the HUD much better than the DIC.

Same with me, except replace 'HUD' with 'sunroof'.
