Break pad recommendations

I have about 20k miles on my SS. I was thinking about upgrading the pads. This would be for a street setup, but one tha would offer great stopping power. Any recommendations?

I would go with the Hawk Ceramic Pads. Very fast stopping power, ultra low dust and very low noise.

PM or Call me directly for Great prices!

Hawk Ceramics will perform about the same as stock. The big benefit of those pads is that they are almost a zero dust pad. If you want better performance they are not what I would suggest. Hawk HPS (High Performance Street) pads are more like it. They perform significantly better than stock and dust slightly less. A set of stainless braided brake lines help a lot too.

++1 on this. I have the Hawk Ceramics and no dust issues and the same stopping power as stock pads. Just remember to break them in per their instructions.

It's amazing what you'll find in the DIY section.

Ceramics are not what I would call great stopping power. Great for dust, ok for stopping.
