Reliable Aftermarket DRL/Fog Lights

Hi Camaro Friends
Well, I'm not sure if Ohio will ever see spring at this point but since tomorrow is OFFICIALLY the first day of Spring I'm beginning my orders of new mods for my SS! I was wondering if you could give me insight on reliable, bright LED/HID fogs/DRLs. I say reliable because I know many, many people who have upgraded their fogs (in various cars) and their upgraded lights flicker or fail after a short amount of usage. I know nothing aftermarket is 100% "reliable" but was wondering what a good set of bright white upgraded lights for my fogs are?

I'm looking at these right now: ORACLE LED P13W Plasma LED Bulbs.

Link here: http://www.automotivelightstore.com/P13W_SALE.aspx

THOUGHTS? ADVICE?

Thanks!
M

Thanks! So are the 4300k 6 watt bulbs the ones I want? I want my DRL lights to match my HID/RS halo color -- so more white and not so blue. Is this correct?: http://www.gen5diy.com/Lighting/Ligh...w-6-watt-4300k

Thanks in advance!

Exact one I have.

My 4300K bulbs match the Halo's almost perfectly and are BRIGHT! Get the DRL/Halo harness too and your DRL's will stay on when the Halo's are on.

Great! Thanks! So the 6 watt is just fine then? It looks like they have a 7.5 watt too in the 4300K. Have you had any issues with yours flickering, or not turning on?

4300k-5000k seems to be the range that people think match well. its really subjective. as for the wattage I believe it just affects the brightness of the light and not so much the color. I have a set of 4300 7.5 watt H11s from Gen5DIY so far they are working good and I would say match the stock halos like 95%

I use the 6W ones. They work great for me, no flickering or anything like that. Don't know about the 7.5W, but I'm sure that they'll be fine and be even brighter.

The DRL fitment changed slightly in the 2012+ Camaros so get the PSX26W, since you have a 2012. For 2010-2011, get the P13W.

was wondering if the housing specs are the same on fogs vs drl im looking for smoked lenses i found fogs but not drl im pretty sure they are the same exact housing but the lightbulbs are different and if i change to the fog housing with a diff lightbulb i imagine i will have to change wiring harness as well idk thats the question.

The 5202 H16 foglights definitely have a different fitment than the P13W DRLs.
