Well it all depends on if there is another color that you see that you like. I've always been a silver car guy but couldn't find a silver camaro with the options I wanted then I saw Blue Ray Metallic and fell in love.

i say buy and repaint.. the power difference is worth it and you could even tweak the green to be a little different if you wanted..

If you are ordering it new then you should get exactly the color you want.
If you're buying used and are looking for the best deal possible, then you may need to be flexible on the color availability.

heh, blue was the only color I wanted. It's the best color for muscle cars IMO.
Nothing wrong with having a preference, the car is a reflection of yourself. having the color you prefer makes it that much sweeter to own.

Hold on to it until you find what you want... that color is striking. There is a CGM that comes out in the summertime around where I work, and I still get excited to see it.

Wait for a Synergy Green SS to pop up, because you know one will right after you cave and buy another color.

I would love a ZL1, but I would have a really hard time letting my Synergy Green go. I don't think I could do it.

Color is very important to the owner because you have to love it......Had a 2011 black vert, now a 2013 crystal red....Got what i wanted, wish i would have held off in the first place. Dont regret it.

You should buy the color car that you will be the happiest with. You absolutely should not settle for a different color if you don't care for it. I'm sure there are SGM SS's out there for sale. You may want to see if you have a local dealer that is willing to have one brought in from another dealer as some dealers are starting to do that with used cars now. Your other option is to go directly to the dealer that has an SGM SS no matter the location of the car. You will pay a premium for the car being SGM, but IMO that would be well worth it if that's the color you love.

That is funny, I got my '73 CJ5 (V8 304) painted from Earl Schribe. And black is tough to keep clean in Colorado, but would be hard to change colors.
