Yes, it's seems a little odd that no one in the U.S. would have received a TPW considering that somewhere around 476 ZL1s have already been produced.

There have been no published TPW's for ZL1. Once they get to 3400 they are produced. The 3400 event status is what has signaled production for all ZL1's produced to date. Ask Becky. She will also confirm this.

True. Had it not been for the hold, your car would likely have been produced (mine too). The point is that nobody has received TPW's from the order tracking systems here on C5 or from Larry at chevroletconnects.

True that ... They seem to have been building them for no rhyme or reason. It's like they just pick a number out of a hat and build that order ...

I have. How else do you get TPW's if not from the ordering system?

I check on gm connect and Becky has helped look up my order number. it appears people who reached 3000 later than I did have earlier build dates. Am I not understanding something. Thanks for any advice. Great site!

I went back to 3000 on 2-11 ... I figure as long as we are at 3000 now, we should get a 2012 still, but the hopes of a low VIN are gone ...

Other than serial number 00001, is there any benefit to having a low VIN?
