I do the bounce sheets, traps in the garage, and start the car every couple days, run it til it comes up to temp rev it up to different rpm's then let it run for 5 mins or so. While its running i usually run the A/C for a bit then crank the heat.... don't know if it really helps but i haven't seen any mice...

Got a family of feral cats living under the car next door

And got one of those humming thingys (put in wall socket) at Home Depot to put in the garage.

Plus I have a nasty pet cat...that tortures them and dog that can smell 'em or hear em a mile away and will sound the alarm (rapid barking).

Here's a sadistic way to get rid and kill mice. My brother told me this and it works, if your garage has any opening to let a mouse or mice in, they will come in.

Get a 55 gallon rubber trash can, a wooden dowel, a whole bunch of cardboard toliet tubes and a package of bacon.

Mount the dowel across the trash can, take the cardboard tubes, cut them into smaller sizes, like 2 or 3 inches. put them on the dowel, take the bacon, wrap it in the center of the dowel, and fill the trash can half full of water. When they run across to get the bacon, they fall off into the water and drown, if your garage is in below freezing weather pour some anti freeze in the water.

My brother caught over 100 mice that went into his garage over the winter. Sounds kinda sadistic, but it really works. I laughed my butt off when he told me how well it worked.
