I never bash a person that asks a question, no reason to. I think we have many people on here young and old and if they ask a question you never say stuff like that may drive them away from the site (or from asking more questions). A person may want to get more info so that they can make call on things to do to their car.

So I guess all the zl1's on this site need to pull their belly pans off, they are not real race cars?????

I have no problems with having fun on here if I know the person, but you have open the door so its ok to have fun back at you right.

Please tell me more about your WS6 Camaro, I would like to know more about that, never seen one. I have seen many PONTIAC's with that,

Lol yup door is open bud.

Hey they designed the car to be mainly autoxing.
Yes your right about the bashing BUT I don't think anyone was really bashing the OP's question. It's more humor than anything, just a lil bs'n.

So yea my lil ws6maro, I had it on my sig before the delivery of the 10ss lol.
Sometimes I just wanna do a swap lol.

Yes I would be. We're talking about a car that has the aero of a coke machine.

The belly pan is made for air to go around the trany Lowering the temps. There was a vid on here with Al Oppenhizer explaining the setup.
I realy butchered Al's name sorry.

Just for fun, I have to ask, how do you get a car to pass thru an air cleaner? Is the car passing thru it's own air cleaner, or maybe the car is passing thru another car's air cleaner. Either way, I'm thinking that there is going to be a lot of resistance stuffing an entire car thru an air cleaner, even if it's one of those high flowing aftermarket air cleaners - LOL !!!

Ok, JK and sorry... But I just had to participate in the "clownery" going on here....

The design of the belly pan is functional in aerodynamics. The overall design of the ZL1 produces down force while the SS does not. The belly pan is just one component in the down force equation. You would need the front vented hood, facia and rear spoiler as well.

Go for it damn it!

Don't forget to post any "seat of the pants" gains as well. Oh hey maybe you should add a "power wedge" and you might fuk around and get "Volt" mpg's lol!

I'm at 28mpg now, it may send me over the 30+ range. That would put me over the 612hp mark, might hit 620hp without tune????

Why wasn't this thread moved? Is the belly pan really a bolt on? Would the trans cooling effect work or be worth it for one installed on a 1le doing autocross?
