Current Gen6 Owners - Would you do it again?
So I'm about to hit the 1,000 mile mark on my Camaro (plus the 700 miles on the loaner Camaro I had for 2 1/2 weeks). I've had my Camaro back to the dealer twice (at over six weeks in the shop) and have had more things fixed under warranty in my first 1,000 miles than every other car I've owned combined.
Here's what I've had go wrong:
But... I still get a big goofy grin when I stomp on the gas and get thrown back in my seat. Yes, even the V6 will throw you back just fine. I still love this car, even though quality control on the gen6 Camaro moderately sucks. So, I was thinking... If you had a chance to do it over again, and buy a gen6 Camaro... Would you? I'm genuinely curious to see what people think, and I also hope that this helps prospective gen6 Camaro buyers that have been lurking on the forums.

No serious complaints here. Have tracked in two different places and each time the car performed incredibly well in stock form (minus brake fluid). The daily driving experience is wonderful, even coming from my 2012 Corvette Grand Sport.
The only issue I have is with the RKE system and the frequency it uses just doesn't work so well in my apt complex.. But, that's not really the car's fault so it's a minor complaint. Really haven't had anything big to complain about and anything that's gone wrong or had an issue has been fixed and what car doesn't have minor issues? The car is very well built. |

Best car I've ever owned. I wouldn't change a thing, but I got just about every option there is.

Due primarily to windshield fogging issue, I also say "No". Other things that collectively add to this decision:
- Paint incomplete in trunk (dealer had it painted, but still has some areas in trunk missing paint) - Blind spot warning system on both sides constantly giving off a "false alarm" whenever it rains. - center console awkward/too small - no storage areas for phone, etc |

I have had almost zero issues with this car. My seat cover is a little suspect but the dealer is going to recover it for me. I have the base model with only a V6 for options and if I could go back, knowing what I know now, the only thing I would do different is wait for that $2000 discount for owning a Mustang.
My Mustang constantly had issues. It was really disappointing in a brand new car. This car I just get in and drive. It doesn't spend a week at a time in the shop.

Probably, but cant say with full certainty. Ive had a few issues here and there, nothing major, but enough to kinda make me lose some love for it. Only thing I would have done differently was wait a few years till QC issues were resolved. I knew what I was getting into buying an early production car, but I cant say I'm not disappointed at GM over it all. I feel like the car was rushed out to compete.
I still love it, just not as much as I could have...
