Opinions please on Ash Grey Cloth interior
I'm considering the 1SS trim without sunroof.
So to make the interior seem brighter, I'm looking at the Ash grey cloth which looks like it comes with a grey headliner. I saw and test drove a 1SS with black cloth. The cloth felt a little thinner than I would have liked. Any comments and suggestions on the Ash grey cloth would be appreciated. How does it wear? Does it stain easily? How difficult to remove stains? Any helpful pre treatment? TIA |

I've seen both, and much prefer the black. I HATE these stupid gray stripes GM is putting on nearly all the seats, regardless of color though. I may have a shop replace the gray with black...

Is there something you don't like about the ash cloth? What stripes did you see? |

I rather like the stripes on the seats, the door panels look a bit busy.

I'm actually considering the gray leather for the same reason. I think the gray carpet and headliner would lighten up the cavernous feel of the interior.

I had a grey interior before and it looked rough after a few years, told myself never again. I saw the ash grey at the findnewroads tour and it looked good but it was so light seems the carpet wouls easily stain from dirty shoes, spilled drinks, etc.

I have seen both the interiors and to me gray looks nicer and makes the camaro look a little roomier... That being said... I went with black with my car because as told above... It's going to be in a pita to keep it new and clean.... Expecially the floor is going to get dirty soon and it will require good maintenance...

I have the light grey interior in my current Camaro, no issues keeping it clean really. I do have weathertech floor mats that I keep in year round. They literally catch everything. Only soiling was from the previous owner, a rental company.

I went with Ash Grey. Prob one of the 1st here to have it. I went with it for 2 reasons.
#1. Contrast. Love the black dash/grey door inserts and A pillars/roof. After comparig mine to all black- I made a good choice. #2. Every car has a black interior. I wanted something different. #3. To "open up" the interior. It does. NOTE: Mine is leather, so there mY be some differences.

Well, more like I refuse to do the "photo hosting" thing.
