Have you checked if the idler pulleys spin freely?

mine used to do this and it wasn't the pulley at all it was the belt.. changed the belt and went away completely ..just a thought

I keep an extra belt in my trunk. Might be worth changing if the pulleys move freely

Better than dropping $300 on bearings if I don't need to

Belt might help. I changed mine when swapping to the overkill PS kit and I haven't heard it yet. Don't think they have a gatorback/continental belt that is the same spec as the stock IPF gates belt. At least for LLT's.

Edit: realized you had a LFX, could try the gatorback like sycraft had.

IPF Supercharger FAQ

Based on the original post in this thread

LFX belt with original pulley is:
Gates K061075 (108.115 length)

Goodyear Gatorback equivalent:
Continental Elite 4061080
(108 length)

I'm going to give this a shot. If anyone thinks this is wrong please let me know and I'll change my post

No issues ..beside slipping with small pulley not the belts fault .. definitely quite

Anybody know the torque specs on tightening the idler pulleys by chance ?
