ZL1 rock gaurds

Yeah, not so much: (
Tape placement is abysmal, and have fun putting the plug back in.

Send them photos and they may send a new set. I used Rokblokz. The Rokblokz don’t have the tape and the fronts were a super easy install.

Backs went on ok, but fronts not so much

I recommend the ACS rock guards. They are molded to fit the car.

Just looked at them, wish I seen them first...ZL1 has some ugly hole for the fronts that you put a clip through.

Don't want to bash on them, but just wish I would have did a little more homework, guess that's on me

I've had the ZL1 Addons rock guards on my car for 3 years. Zero issues with the install and they've been rock solid (no pun intended) the whole time.

My money is still on Rokblokz after a few thousand miles, they are sturdy and offer great protection.

Here are my quick post-install thoughts with some photos: https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showp...1&postcount=47

I’ve had these since day one as well. Great rock guards, and zero paint chips down low, in the mid or rear.

The rock guards themselves are good but the hardware used to put them on is not. The metal u clips provided have "teeth" on both sides which means they scratch the paint off the inside of the front fenders. I took mine off to replace a broken one and put my head inside the wheel well to inspect it and found 2 scabs of rust originating from 2 small parallel scratches top and bottom (i.e. From the clips). For any of you particularly living in colder climates where they salt the roads in winter, might be worth having a look and treating any rust before it eats through to the outside. Mine were on for about 3 years and the car wasn't driven much in the winter....
