New Owner of a 14 1LE
Just wanted to pop in and say hello! I picked up my new to me car today in a torrential downpour. Was a white knuckle ride home but everything went well. I’m excited to get some time to clean her up and then a little seat time. Until then I’ll continue you scan all the information here.

Congrats! I have a white 15 1LE. I drove mine home 11 hours when I bought mine and one of those hours was in downpour. If you've still got the G:2s I can back up that white knuckle ride.

Congrats on your 1LE! Really enjoying mine. I waited about 10 years to get an SS and I'm really happy with the car.
As a side note, I had been wondering what a white or silver model would look like with the roof wrapped in black. I hadn't seen pics. from anyone who had done it, but yours looks really tough! Enjoy it! |

I have been on the fence about keeping it, but it’s been growing on me. Just wish it was not so hard to keep the water spots off the wrap.

Get some adams vrt and put a coat on it, it will be shiny for a few washes, but it goes back to matte and seems to keep the water spots from staying. Congrats by the way! I have the same but 2015

When I picked mine up last year at the dealership, the hood was covered in water spots. I'm guessing the irrigation system had been hitting the front of the car. Anyways i used and still continue to use turtle wax ice and 99.99% of the spots are gone. It'll give the wrap a satin look for a while before wearing off. But it only takes 5 mins to reapply. Just avoid hard water and you shouldn't have any issues once you remove the current spots. Oh and congrats on the 1le Camaro. One hell of a car!!!
