a bone stock, unmolested, low mileage car. I have been collecting cars for about 15 years and a bone stock Camaro or any other muscle car is hard to find. With that being said, does anyone plan on leaving their ZLI or other low production number Camaro completely stock?

They've made way too many 5th GEN's to be "rare". The closest thing may be that Carbon Flash Metallic ZL1 that Rick Hendrick just bought last Saturday at the Barret Jackson Auction. It was #1 and it's the only one made in CFM.

there were a lot of 1st gens at one time.... a lot of them have just rusted away and been destroyed

Rarest may be the '69 ZL1 COPO ..only 69 made. $500,000 car today.

25 Years from now, a 5th Gen SS Bone Stock with low miles will be a find, much less a ZL1. IMO.

Actually it will be #69. But of course, still super rare.

Me, I see no reason to mess with perfection. My ZL1 will not be touched. Well, maybe an SLP loud mouth if it doesn't sound cool enough ,but I believe it's going to sound pretty good.

There was 1 68 z28 convertible. I think it was made for Pete Estes.

No problem. It's exactly what I've been waiting for since 2006. I'm getting older and I don't have the ability find the limits of this car in stock form(which I doubt many people really do) let alone in some modded form. Besides I like cars that are stock and unmolested. Modding a new car just isn't my thing. That's why I also have old cars.

I've done some mild mods, but you sound just like me. I keep my cars mainly stock.

For about the last 20 years, window tint has been about the extent of my mods. The bold type is very true unless your a hardcore racer.
