That thing is spot on. Good job to all involved with bringing this new generation to light. I can't wait to see one for real.

HA! Quit being shy & say what you really mean.

Can almost promise that once the gen 6 is running around on the roads people will no longer say they are like the gen 5. The differences will be more apparent in person vs online photos. Besides, reinventing the wheel with an all new design that is radically different generally is reserved for sales failures.

The same was said about the GM trucks from the gmt 900's to the K2XX, but that all ended when the 2014's were rolling out to the dealerships.

I'm with you, it looks much different from every angle I have seen it at.

I think we can say that it is the best looking camaro yet even if there are still styling cues from the gen 5. Look at it this way, you are getting 4 seater corvette for the price of a camaro. I am not complaining about that, thank you GM.

I remember someone on here saying that the fast back design was reminiscence of the 2nd gen as well as the chrome strips on the front grille, ala split bumper from the 2nd gen. When I compared it I was thinking, not bad. So now I wonder if the 7th gen (if there is one), will have 3rd gen ques as part of the design. Interesting.

You are taking this forum way too serious, stop being a bully! What are you 16? You basically cursed someone out because they gave their opinion about the gen 6th design on a gen 6th forum? Your being a fan boy, just because it's a gen 6 forum does not mean everyone has to like the design of the car! In my opinion he is right! It does look like a gen 5! .... But a less muscular one! New does not equal better and most people I talk to think they took a step backwards including myself! If they made a his and hers camaro, the 5th would be the his version and the 6th woud be hers! It looks feminin by comparison! I have owned gen 3, 4 and i now have a gen 5 and was looking forward to getting the 6th gen until now, that being said I am hoping that seeing it in person will make me feel differently, but as for now, this is a toned down less aggressive version of the gen 5, exterior appearance wise...... in my opinion!!!! If everyone in the forum only praised the car and didn't give opinions on it, this would be a boring forum to come to!

I think the 6th gen looks like a battle sword, while the 5th gen looks like a warhammer. Haha. Both look very aggressive to me. In muscle building terms the 6th gen is cut and toned while the 5 was still bulking and puffy. It is the same thing I said about the 2014 update vs 2010 look, at least the 2014 1LE and Z28, which are my fav gen5 looks just ahead of ZL1.

Great way to put it. The 6gen looks much more muscular, meaner and better looking than the 5gen.

There is no doubt when a Camaro is on the road that it's a Camaro. IMHO Ford went over board on the Mustang. It looks nothing like one and just blends in with the other cars on the road. Heck if it didn't have the pony in the grill, I would have a hard time spotting one. It lost its iconic look and is more euro now. It's a nice looking car, but it just doesn't have that Mustang pony car look anymore.
To me the new Mustang looks like it wishes it was a GTR.
