Yeah, the skip shift thing is a pain. I tried to actually use it on a quiet street, shift from 1st to 4th at 15mph and drive? Forget it. I find staying in first gear until 20mph OR stepping the throttle past 25% works just fine. It still catches me off guard once in a while, but the skip-shift-eliminator kit is not expensive & easy to do. First gear sounds pretty good at 20mph too !

the other solution if you still want out of first under 20 mph is shift to 3rd this torque monster will take you to 95 before you have to shift again.

Torque monster is right! I drove a regular 2SS just a few days before I got this one... the LS3 in general is pretty quick with plenty of torque, but I though it was pretty manageable.
But the gearing in this 1LE gets me up to 100 mph sooooo fast!

Yep, skip shift is annoying but it has only engaged once since getting mine in Feb. but I was starting from a stoplight like a granny when it got me the 1 time. Had it programmed out on my 2011 SS, but with the 3:91 gears in the 1LE I find I blow right past the rpm/speed range where it would engage so it hasn't effected me any.
Congrats |

After Synergy Green I really wasn't sure where to go with it... I'm not a flashy person, but I do like a flashy car
unfortunately I do not have grid lines, curvy or straight. Actually, I've found that I don't like the rear camera. I was backing out of my driveway once and nearly clipped my mirror on a fencepost. Camera view showed plenty of space, but it was close. I now just take a quick peek at the camera and go right to mirrors. Recaros are far from terrible! In fact, after test driving a couple 2SS cars with leather I found that I actually liked my old cloth seats more than the leather... But recaro seats are in a different league altogether! My synergy had 96k miles. They beat me up a bit on it... They offered $9,750 and I pushed it to an even $10,000. My car was very well maintained - especially for the mileage - but high miles hurt me. With around 60k miles you'd be looking at around $12,000 at least, Which is about what the value is for the 2010 V6 is, and what they're going for at auction. If you're looking at trading into NEW 2014 Camaro, a dealer is going to be a lot more willing to deal and you're going to get more.
