Welcome to the forum. As for what to get, there is a lot of threads on that very question. Doing a search will be quicker than waiting for responses. But anyways, you have a 2011 so I would say Vararam intake, PTB, ice olatar, exhaust (there is a exhaust thread with sound clips). Oil catch can, trifecta tune. The list goes on for a 2011. There is a start for you.
Edit: for a LS wheels for sure. I hate the wheels on the LS, I'm saving for new ones now. |

badfishkoi05, CONGRATS on the ride and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in them...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wive's, husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.
oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!

When i had my Ls the first thing i bought was Wheels I bought SS Wheels and tires from someone on the forum only 750 bucks wont find wheels cheaper anywhere else then i did exhaust cause i wanted sound. The ark IMO is the best sounding but its also the most exspensive so u just gotta know if ur willing to pay 700 to 1k for it.

It would be nice to see a picture of your car. I choose performance for my first mods then I did some exterior changes. If I had to choose it would be a Cold Air intake, Catch Can, throttle body, rims. I have not purchased rims yet, simply because my wife wants fog lamps. So I am doing Heritage grill, fog lamps with halos. I am going to install a rotary switch for the halos fogs as the LS has another space for the rotary switch. Since we dont have a HUD. Anyway I would do performace then go cosmetic. BTW enjoy the car, and the perma grin that comes with it.

Austinjames love your new wheels/tires! Badfishoi05 welcome. You can take your car in so many different directions. I would take Austin's lead on mods. His LS is bad ass. What color did you get? Post some pictures!

If you do HIDs, do NOT put them in a halogen housing... it's annoying to other drivers and in most places illegal.

There are so many options to go. Im pretty much a rookie right now and I have a few friends who mod their cars. I got the metallic silver LS with Racing stripes. Im trying to get some mods for a decent price. If anyone is selling anything Id be more then happy to check it out. What is the best Cold Air Intake? (most HP). I like the Ark N-ii exhaust, sounds nice. Havent thought about comestic yet. Mainly performance. Tuner?

Ark n-2 is beast bro. It's got alot of cabin noise so be prepared, I loved it and none of my friends complained. Also go with cold air inductions as your intake. They are the best IMHO as Ive had one on my v6 and now on my v8.
