Gas guzzler???
Check out the odometer reading from the two photos. 1/4 tank gone in 3 miles! Actually, in to the body shop at 11,105. Out today at 11,108. Geez! Would there have been that much idle time? I didn’t think to make note of the engine hours. Or do they drain fuel? I’ll need to look into this I suspect.

Do cars record miles during brake torques? Your car might have gone through the toughest 3 mile stretch of its life.

Takes a whole lot of gas to make a whole lot of power. Look at the bright side at least the all that valuable air mixed with that gas is free.

They might have left it idle with the ac on when they were cleaning the inside.

There's only one car on planet earth - well, 2 - that uses that amount of gas in three miles. Only a Bugatti Veyron and Chiron, with their 8 liter quad turbo W16 and all wheel drive, would only use that amount at it's 261 mph top speed while it's drinking a gallon of fuel every 30 seconds.

I have noticed on my Gen6, that the gauge is kinda flaky. I swear it fluctuates with the wind. Unlike other cars I have had this isnt predictable. Granted I dont drive my car as a daily driver, but that gauge is kind of a ball park reading.

I think the most likely explanation is someone drained fuel. Not sure what the nature of the body work was that would necessitate that, so maybe somebody wanted some free premium.

There is no way it can use so much of gas in 3 miles unless they were doing donuts in the parking lot

I'd agree that it was idling, unless your rear tires are also shredded.

Even on the track I'm getting ~4 mpg (or at least that's why my read out says by the end of the day)... there had to be a ton of idle time there...
