1LE trade values

Looking at getting into a truck again. The truck market prices are super inflated right now. I feel like I keep running into is dealers I believe just give me regular Camaro SS trade values. I've tried to show them retail sales for 1LE and they laugh. Even my own dealership....I'm in Florida and a 15 with around my mileage the closest one is 600 miles away. They tell me Camaros within 50 miles are selling for 24k. I have a 2015 1LE 1SS RS PACKAGE, NAVIGATION, NPP, PARKING SENSORS with 45k miles super clean car. The most I have been offered is 22,000. Has anyone run into this recently?

Could you sell your 1LE yourself and get more cash from selling privately for it, then go back to the dealer with the cash?

Forgive my ignorance. I'm curious, I have never bought a car from a dealer.

Must be a location thing. All my offers are low. Had 1 dealer offer me 25,104. The dealer I work for thinks they were just moving money around. I'm sure I could sell it, but too many tire kickers around my way.

Check carvana multiple times daily. I got many different values over the course of a few weeks. Now is the time to sell as these cars are coming into demand with the seasons.

You'd never see that kind of money for one of these cars private party sales. Hell, I bought mine three years ago as a CPO for 28 and just traded it for 27. After the tax incentive on trade the car actually paid me to own it.

It's covid pricing, these cars will not wholesale for these numbers forever. Its a shitty time to buy but a great time to sell. I work in the dealer network, we're estimating used values to increase 30% before year end. If you're thinking about getting out of any car, now is the time.

Just for kicks I tried carvona but the page for getting a value doesn't work? Ok got it to work. Had to adjust some site settings. Anyways my offer with 7,500 on the clock.

Yep I know i got out of 3 grand negative equity last year when same thing was happening. Problem right now a month ago trucks were decent but car value were low. Now my car is a little better but I've been pretty much priced out of a nice affordable truck. The dealership I work at had a Ram Laramie fully loaded with 24k miles they were gonna sell me for 27. They would only offer me 23,500 which is KBB instant cash offer and that was like pulling teeth.. They were trying to give me a 7% rate. I'm currently at a 4.4. Then a day later sold it to someone else.
