I Need Help!!

Hang a tennis ball from the roof and have it bounce off the windshield when it's time to stop.

..."so as to not hit the wall..."

How about get a tennis ball and a string
After car in garage properly, puncture ball and tie string through it
Suspend string from ceiling to float on windshield...
...cost? Free!!

I was gonna do that or hang it from the shelf close to the wall. Was just searching cause I was curious to see if I could use those stops to give me clearance if I turned them sideways. Found that, essentially rubber speed bump, and thought it would work for clearance issues better.

It looks like it's your cross brace under the h-pipe that is dragging. You shoud be good with about a 1" lip. Just make sure you can get lift off the front end and still keep the boards inside the garage. It doesn't look like you are getting to far past the point where the door closes before you are dragging. If you can't get enough lift, you will need to adjust the point your door closes so you can put the boards farther forward (closer to the curb).

so i have like a billion boxes from moving sitting in the garage because i can't recycle them all in one week..lol. decided i'd play some trial and error and see if boxes would work. they semi-did, but i'm gonna get wood so it's a bit stronger. got the length and width and all that down now though.
