Does the 6th Gen feel Heavy?

As the title suggest, I am curious as to the general view toward the perceived weight of this vehicle on the new alpha platform. Had a 2013 5th gen 2LT, then moved over to a 2015 Mustang GT PP, Now I am back home with my New 50th anniversary 17 2SS Camaro. While I am blown away by the power and build quality of this vehicle, steering feel is just as heavy as my 5th Gen, even in touring mode. Thoughts?

Yeh steering is tight, it makes the car feel heavier than it is. But its point and shoot. It goes right where you point it.

I'm coming from a c7, so it feels a little heavier to me. Heavy definitely does not equal sluggish or imprecise though.

I couldn't disagree more. I drove my 13, test drove a 14' SS and then test drove the 17 and I was blown away by how light and nimble it felt in comparison.

The steering seems way heavier than my '07 Mustang GT. Way Way...

6TH gen also has a lot smaller wheel than a 5TH gen.. you're also talking about a v6 vs a v8 lump of aluminum on the nose!

* I say this not knowing what a v6 5th gen weighs or drives like

Steering is one of the 6th gen's strong points. Check the settings menu to make sure it's in tour mode.

Aside from that, the GT steering is light and floaty. So you may have gotten used to that.

Light...yes. Floaty....not so much. it's lowered with Eibach Pros & koni shocks/struts. pretty stiff really.

I meant the OP's Mustang assuming it was stock. Maybe numb is a better word than floaty.
