Just installed a 2013 frameless mirror in my 2011 from Gen5diy.
Question I have is should any of the icons or anything on the mirror glow to tell me the mirror is working?
Note - I do not have a active onstar subscription.
Not sure why photo is upside down.

Are you posting from an Ipad? that is a known issue on here with the pictures posting upside down.

If you're not getting any lights, something was missed with your electrical connections.

Problem solved.
You have to put the fuse you remove back into the add a fuse (2 fuses in total) before everything will work.
And yes, posting from a iPad.

I tried this.
Wiring looks good, everything connected, still nothing.
No lights, no response from OnStar.
Any ideas?

I did the same upgrade last year and after a 1 week I' e unplugged the connectors for the mirror... could not stand the illusion of police lights flashing at me at night.

So, again, any ideas?
No lights, no OnStar, nothing.
I checked to make sure both fuses were in the add a fuze,
Still nothing.
Any help is appreciated.

Same here,got everything hooked-up ok,but no power to the mirror.
I'm going to PM Ofer and see if he has any troubleshooting ideas/tips.

Yep,I've been in contact with Ofer all day today,I'm trying different things to see if I can find the fix.

Me too,
he said to check the single green wire and its male connection.
I did, it had some play in the connector itself even once it was snapped together.
But I still could not get it to work

Working at a Chevy dealer with lotsa' Camaro's on the lot....I tried my frameless mirror in a new 2015 Camaro we have here,and it worked fine,so I know my mirror is good.
I also plugged my OE non-frameless mirror into my car using the harness and it worked as well (although I don't if that really means anything or not)
Now what I'm going to do this afternoon is take the original frameless mirror out of that new 2015 I plugged mine into and try it in my car,I figured it can't hurt to try a new different mirror!
