Do it yourself custom painted engine covers
Was wanting to see what other fellow members did to improve the looks of their engine covers themselfs without buying one that was already done.

Here's mine...since my car is black, kept it pretty simple...only painted the center & side areas a metallic black

Very nice!.. the emblems and the carbon fiber on the tower brace bring it all together very nicely

Nothing special. Just wanted it to match the car a little better
This is how I did mine But a quicker way is to do the same minus the taping. Then take 3m pad or sandpaper and lightly scuff off the paint over the lettering. then hit it with the clearcoat
