bank taking car, need help!

hey guys

im removing the turbo from my car because the bank is taking it. i have a few questions.

I got the turbo installed at a local speed shop so i let them tune it. i have a tune file from before for the same cam, intake, injectors, fuel pump and long tubes that id like to upload to the ECM so its in running condition when they take it and then i can sell the turbo kit and injectors.

so the differences between the tune and the actual car will be:
1. stock injectors back in, but the tune is for the id850s
2. it now has a boostapump based on boost but there will be no boost now,

3. no long tubes anymore, just stock manifolds going on

will there be any problems? they just need to be able to drive it onto a truck and from the truck to auction probably.

Thanks again.

Why be so disrespectful towards your Canadian neighbors/friends, the poor guy is already down cause he is loosing his car then you have to make a stupid uneducated comment.

Maybe his question wasn't something you agree with but really!

As shitty as what you're doing is, I'm still going to answer.

No, OP, that will not be okay, as the car will be running very lean as your injectors are much smaller than what it's tuned for.

It will most likely fire and run rough, but still run.

Your tune file shouldn't be maxing out the stock injectors from just idling / driving it onto an auction block.

ok so it sounds like boosta pump isnt involved with the tune per se?
so the question becomes ....
say i leave the injectors in, will a tune for headers just run a little rich with stock manifolds?

It's my understanding that the boostapump just allows the PCM to command the fuel and the pump actually supply it by regulating voltage.

If the car isn't getting the airflow determined (from the turbo), then it won't command the aggressive fueling. So it will work as usual.

Remember, you aren't always in boost on the car, so the computer has to use sensors to determine airflow and adjust for fuel ratio. Without the boost on the car, it just won't command the fueling.

Just because an injector is big, doesn't mean the car wants it to send 100% of the fuel through, without boost it could only command 20% of the injector if it wants.

If you swap out the manifolds for stock, again, the car will run fine, but when you get aggressive on the car, it will probably run too lean/rich because the exhaust isn't flowing exactly how the car thinks it should.

Again though, for easy driving and not aggressive there really shouldn't be much of an issue. The worst part about the car is that it might be slightly rough, but the sensors should accommodate the situation and allow the car to run.

Lol not quite. I got hooked on m$%h and c*%aine and spent a month in rehab and my wife left me and had to claim bankruptcy.

Theyre letting me keep my 2014 sierra all terrain though so its getting a procharger as soon as i get my child support caught up. starting a new job next week that pays well so wish me luck.
