Agreed. The fact one doesn't come from the factory is just insane.

Just got V2 as my black V1 crapped the bed...
Don't see instructions w/mine...
What are you guys doing with the 2 "bleed" ports on the back? Plugging both?
Looping them together?

Also, the fill level is about 1/2 way up the bottle...I filled my old version to the top and assumed the if too much psi, the cap is rated to bleed off, right??

Forgot how to post pic as had the 2 nipples on back circled...

Leave the bleed ports alone. I fill mine with it running higher then the fill mark on it. But only because I have a chiller. When the fluid gets cold it will change and actually go down in the resevior. When i turn it off, the fluid level will rise close to the top. You just need to check your setup and see where it sits. Fill it a bit above the fill line, start it let it warm up see if it moves. Take it for a drive and check it again.

EDIT: Actually which one did you buy? Because the V2 res doesnt have any bleed ports, it just has the overflow port controlled via cap.

Did you order this one? https://lsa-conversion-store.myshopi...ersal-hardware

If you did that's for Gen 5 or universal fit.

The LT4 one is this one: https://lsa-conversion-store.myshopi...sivoir-upgrade

I bought the LT4 version (at least that's what i ordered). It has the 90' pointing down at the cap on back side AND a smaller one that points straight towards the firewall. I have a boost chiller (WeaponX) so my coolant can see significant temp swings as well. Just don't like the idea of pee'ing coolant down towards my headers...or engine bay for that matter. Why not plug them??...or loop them together? I'm missing the instructions, did they address this? (tried emailing them, no reply yet)...

Weird , mine doesn’t have that nipple in the back. Only the drain on the cap.

I mean I guess you could plug it if your concerned. Mine doesn’t drip though. Just get the coolant level right.

I filled mine almost up to the top and have never had overflow and haven’t had to add any coolant other than burping it after I removed the supercharger.

Thinking i may try to put a small overflow bottle on (which would duplicate the engine coolant side design)...that way i can be full all the time. Right now, the "right size" seems to be only 1/2 full. Thinking it wouldn't need to be that big to keep it from going to ground (on track!) or engine bay...

You can see from the pictures on LSA website that the 1 picture with fluid in it, there is a red line that runs to the port that goes straight to the firewall. So this must be a setup for some sort of aftermarket cooler.

I have the first version so it doesn't have any of these extra ports. I'd just plug them and make sure they aren't leaking every so often.

I wanted to order one of these but the lack of instructions and support is off-putting.

You don’t need instructions, just connect it. The LT4 version doesn’t have all of what he has. I’m pretty sure he’s got the universal one.

Yeah instructions are not necessary. This is a super easy install. It took less than 10 mins.

Just a FYI...the one Magnuson uses can be purchased with the bracket for $79 i believe it is. No brand written on the side unlike the Edelbrock.

I clicked the LT4 version and it looks exactly like that one.

Magnuson one sucks though. There’s no baffle and when you open the cap the fluid goes flying all over.
