That is exciting news

A 4200 stall converter is not streetable so that's out the window for me, the 3.73 gear change for the A8 I have wondered about for some time and I would be interested in seeing how that would work.

Its a concept for SEMA. The vast majority of such cars never move an inch towards production. I wouldn't get my hopes up for an SS Drag Pack

Yes, but what caught my eye was that the 'power adder' only bumps things up by another 70 after that. Unless its an either/or type deal instead of an 'and': get the heads, cam, intake & exhaust OR the power adder ... but not both.

Otherwise, thats not a whole lot of power being added.

Normally, power adders refer to some form of forced induction. Superchargers, turbos, and nitrous.

It wouldn't. Stock is 2.77.

First gear would be useless it's already equivalent to like 4.56 with the 2.77 rear gear.

The Scat has like a 3.07. Seems to help a bit.

Maybe 3.23? 3.73 wayyyy too much imo.

As for the stalls lots of guys claim the new stuff is very streetable in the 4K range. But have no personal experience

Yeah, I was surprised by that as well. I'm hoping the 600 was from a stock LT1 with a power adder and the 530 was HCIE.

Why is it even being discussed if they will offer it to the public? This should be a no brainer. Get that stuff out for sale!!!

The heads and cam package is some serious work! I'm surprised GM even offered something of that nature.. but that's good which means a tune will be involved.

I was hoping for a tune + headers, etc. that will bump up the HP and torque by 30 - 40.. that would be great!

I agree. Its nice too see it makes a good bit of power while retaining AFM (I could care less about AFM, but again, good numbers for still having it).

The LT1 heads cam kit is actually perfect in my opinion for the 1LE and Corvette Grand Sport.

Its probably almost as cheap to just ad a Heart Beat. You have to do a lot of work to change the cam which means a lot more labor cost
