Dealer quotes $3232.00 for the GM "prepaid maintenance plan plus".

Anyone ever bought this & found that it was a good deal? Or for factory scheduled maintenance, is it cheaper to pay as you go?

I dont do my own mechanical work, so wondering if this cost is worth adding into the financing.

That’s pretty spendy for a simple maintenance plan. At that price it sounds like an extended warranty. You'll want to read the details to understand what you’re getting and for how long (months and/or miles) at that price. And you’ll want to be sure you know what company is selling the plan. Dealers can sell extended warranty plans from a variety of companies (not just GM).

The Vehicle protection package" is the extended warranty. That cost is $2,329 for 60 months. It's less than the prepaid maintenance plan.

I paid $2,200 to extend mine an extra 6 years...full 8 year warranty.
