I'm with Ace, not sure why anyone on this forum should be flaming him for it, not like he started going off on the guy. Seems to me if they didn't want folks going in them they should be locked with signs.

when i go to a dealer i go in if the car is unlocked.

Some of the cars at GM's area in Birmingham were locked and getting inside was prohibited because they were 'pre-production' vehicles.

However some others like the ZL1 convertible, you were indeed allowed to open the door and sit in them. I made the mistake of sitting in the ZL1 Vert.

Damn it, now I want one even more.

That would be a tough call, a car she drove or breaking in your car the right way. I think she went well over 4000 rpm.

Were you lucky enough to buy yours with under 10 miles on it or had it previously been road tested? If road tested do you honestly think it had not exceeded 4k?

Yup, order and off the truck. Think it had 6. I called every day, the girl at the front called me in morning, sat around the dealership for over 8 hours, while it went through service and prep. Well worth it.
