ZL1 Rear Spoiler ?

Hi Guys

I want to remove and paint my original 2018 ZL1 rear spoiler.

My question is, have any of you found the GM part # for the original rubber foam stick on seals. My Chevy parts guy tells me they dont offer them separately.

Maybe true, but that sure seems like a part they would offer ?

Thanks Dale

ZL1 Rear Spoiler ?

Oh hell. I'm wanting to do the same thing and didn't even think about that. I'll be following this to hopefully hear some solution options from one of the many knowledgeable members out there.

By the way, you're not looking to go FROM a mosaic black colored spoiler TO a red hot colored spoiler are you??

It's probably just 3M double sided automotive tape. You can probably cut your own out and have the exact same thing for a fraction of what GM would charge.

Even if it is not ... the 3m tape can be used to replace it .. pretty sure it is the 3m double side tape.

Yes I looked for it myself and no dice. 3M or Gorilla double side will work fine carefully cut.

I think its so stupid Gm doesn't make the originals as a replacement part.

Car just landed yesterday, and I get to service it with the tech tomorrow.

The parts guy checked my VIN and my hood is Black Kettle Met, I will need to confirm.

Cheers Dale

Nope sorry, Im going to match the mirrors and spoiler to the hood. Also may black out the lower grill area leading to the splitter.

By the way anyone else with a 2018 Silver Ice ZL1 confirm that the hood scoop is Black Meet Kettle, not Mosaic black ?

Thanks for clearing that up, first time Ive ever come across this.

Heading down to the dealer to hand them the big check, and service the car in a couple hours.
