JacFab'in Fridays - check out my new YouTube series

Hey guys, I decided to start a new series on YouTube that basically documents me working on random projects. I've changed my work/home schedule around so that I get one full day I week that I can dedicate to working on some type of project (generally Camaro related), rather than an hour here and there during the week if I'm lucky. Making videos has always been kind of a relaxing, creative outlet for me and I miss doing it, so I decided to incorporate that into my one full day of accomplishing things.

That said, here is the first episode that went live last night. In this episode I kind of showcase a prototype I've been working on, and make a test fixture for comparison testing between mine and the stock part, and actual testing to happen next week so be sure to check back for that video.

I hope that you will all follow along in the future, and check this stuff out!

Without further delay, here is this weeks JacFab'in Friday video!

https://youtu.be/D4HzTL7Gbh0

Episode 1

For those following along, here are some upcoming future projects that will be recorded and posted:

Recirculation valve testing (next video)

Episode 2

And the rest in no particular order:

-LFX electric water pump (later to be adapted to the LTG)
-Custom intake manifold setup for Overkill LGX supercharger setup
-Meth Injection testing (Single nozzle vs direct port) (Multi-part)
-Making (machining, and casting) Christmas presents 2017 (obviously this one will come soon)
-G8 GT front brake upgrade
-Camaro LTG FMIC (multi-part?)
-LTG tear down and rebuild (stroker) (multiple part)
-Cinematic Camaro movie (3 part)
-72 Chevelle LS swap (multi-part, long term)
-77 Wagoneer 4x4 LS swap (multi-part, long term)

Open to suggestions for additional content?

Thanks for watching guys! I'm glad you enjoyed it! I'm a little out of practice with the editing, so I noticed the volume is a little off in some clips, but I will try to make it better in the future, and get some better camera stuff in the future. The whole thing aside from the screen captures in Fusion 360 was filmed on my GoPro Hero 4. I need to get an external mic for the GoPro and my Canon, and maybe get some lighting as I want to keep this rolling as I really enjoy doing it.

Looks good so far! Definitely think about writing yourself a script or an outline to keep things going forward. Very much looking forward to the next video!

Unreal! That's AWESOME! Good to see a tech series based on these cars!

Thanks, be sure to subscribe, I've got an LFX project I will be sharing soon. Not real sure if I will get into the LGX or not. Not much room for me to do anything there since gm changed it so much from the LFX.

I kinda quit drinking... So all you'll see moving forward is car tech, me building or machining things or vlogs about tech/cars building things...

But those were good times for sure

It's on the list, and the direct port setup is under construction.
