My 2012 (non RS) SS came with the standard "Bright Silver" painted wheels. Back then, Chevy offered the Bright Silver, Midnight Silver, and polished rims.

The Midnight silver painted wheels are standard option for the RS on the LT/SS cars, the polished were an option.
The Silver painted were standard on the SS cars, Again MS Silver standard for the RS package and Polished were an option as well.

My 2014, 2LT/RS came with the painted 20" Midnight silver. At 4K I found and changed to a set of complete polished 20". So i have a complete extra set of 20" wheels and tires including the sensors.

RS wheels are painted "midnight" silver with the insides painted black.
Regular SS wheels are painted just pain silver. Polished wheels are clear coated aluminum.
