Neither of these tools much care whether you're cutting carbon steel or stainless, though you are apt to be left with a little finish work.



You'd probably want a steadier hand then mine to use that on the visible portions at the bumper, but I think it could be done (with a little finish work using a couple of file shapes). Pipes that are closely spaced or in tight spaces might need a hand hacksaw (perhaps with a carbide blade) to get the last portion cut.


If I'm just trial-fitting things together and can make my cuts "off the car".

I love that the tips stick out a bit. Looks more aggressive. Stock is too tame looking.

I'm glad that I found a user who bought the black tips. I was thinking of going this route, but now I think I might like the polished tips better. The black is still cool because no one else has anything like it.
