On my buick to get the nav system in voice command you have to first push the voice button on the steering wheel, then when it says “say a command” you say “Navigation”. Then you say “Destination” or “Address” then say the address of your destination. It should enter the address automatically.
It is all spelled out in my infotainment manual in the Navigation section.

Thank you that is what I thought. I though no way it would be voice activated on an older silverado and not voice activated on a brand new traverse. I will relay this info and see if it works. If it doesn't then we should know if something is not working correctly.

Not that there is anything wrong with the 'Escala' name on its own, it was fine as a concept car and its great that they're going to be using an actual model name for a car but ... why have the Escala in the same show room as the Escalade?

Of all the names they could have used

Speaking of luxury cars...

The day after Escala is rumored going into production, Continental is rumored to be a dead man walking.

I thought the Continental was supposed to be doing alright, sales wise.

On the other hand, the number of cars sold matters less than how many you were planning on selling & how much is made off each one.

Apparently Ford burned around $1 billion bringing it to market.

Ouch.

I agree with DG. The Escala name makes little sense. Of course GM gave us 12 different cars with “SS” then one that was just SS.
