Bleeding Brembo brakes

So I got my calipers powder coated and adding Goodridge stainless steel brake lines. Just wondering like the 5th Gen that had the line at the bottom to connect the two sides when bleeding do you start with the inside or outside bleeder?

I don't think it really matters. I personally did outside first when I did mine, but the calipers should be symmetric, meaning it doesn't matter which side you start on. My only suggestion is after finishing the second side, go back to the side you started on for one of two more open/close cycles. That'll make sure no bubbles crept back in from the other side that wasn't bled first.

In theory, opening both at the same time would work well and eliminate the need to mess with side to side checks, but that might be tricky to pull off.

Ok. Thank you. I normally make two passes on both sides. I bought this new Harbor Freight one man bleeding system and think I will try it out. Seen a lot of good reviews on it. https://youtu.be/iY52V-qQ-5Q

I did the same after getting my rear calipers power coated. It did't work for me so I went back to the old fashion two person method, but used components from the Harbor Freight kit.

I have never been able to get those kits to bleed to my satisfaction so I always use the 2 person system.

I used the upside-down bottle to keep the reservoir filled, and the other part to collect the flushed fluid - That's about all it was good for, at least for me.

Great. I will be bleeding the brakes this week. I am going to try it. I heard if you put a little grease on the bleeder screw that helps with air leaks around the fitting when installed.

Just did mine, used a Motive brake bleeder and Castrol SRF fluid. Found some interesting info on the net that said to bleed inner then outer as to not push any inner side debris to the outer. Also start at the wheel farthest away from abs unit which would be driver rear then pass. rear /driver front and last pass. front . That is the way I did it and used 1 liter of fluid for a full flush. Removed res. cap and sucked old fluid out topped off with new hooked up bleeder to the res. applied 14psi and bleed each wheel till I saw new fluid. Must maintain fluid level in res. as to not introduce air. All went well , it was the easiest bleed I ever did.

Update. Even though the Harbor Freight kit seemed like a good idea it does not work like it says. I tried 4 times around and still have air in lines. So decided to go back to the old 2 person way. I wish I would have saved my money and got the Motive pressure bleeding kit. Maybe next time.

You might need to cycle the abs unit with a pro type scanner that has the ability for that . Changed calipers one time on a chevy van and it would not bleed properly even with the two person method until I borrowed said tool.
Good luck man.

Came home and we did it the old fashion way. Nothing can replace the 2 person method. Pedal is just like it should be and no more air in the lines.

Good luck man.
I talked to several GM service tech's and you can rent a scanner from AutoZone, buy a scanner from Harbor Freight for $99.00 or activate the ABS system on rocks or grass and it will do the same thing as the scanner. That will allow the ABS system to bleed itself if needed. I have never had to do that on any of my Camaro's after powder coating my Brembo calipers and adding stainless steel brake lines. But I do not empty my entire system so there is always fluid in the brake fluid reservoir.
