Full Bolt On V6 Mustang Vs 2018 1SS Stock
Hey guy's, so I got a friend that got a full bolt on V6 mustang (Exhaust, Tune, E85, CAI, Throttle Body) 6 Speed Auto and wanted to race my stock 8 Speed Auto 2018 SS. He also wanted me to give him a 1 car length ahead. What you guys think would the out come will be? From Dig and rolls.

From what I've seen on a quick search, they are good for a low 13 at 106ish. Unless he has FI hidden in the form of a large nitrous shot, your car will walk him quickly.

OK...I'll bite.
That Mustang in good weather and decent driver is a low 13 second car in the 1/4. There are some guys with drag pack wheels/tires, those mods, that have scratched high 12s, but that car won't do high 12s. Low to mid 13s consistently, again in ideal conditions. But what you define as a "race" here makes all the difference. Regardless...you should win. But if you were to do a race from a dig, and then you give him a 1 second advantage in the 1/4 mile, it could be a close race. If you are just racing from a dig on a "closed road" and then running it up to God knows how fast....of course you'll walk him. From a roll, you'll beat him every time.

The 3.7's are no slouch, especially with mods! That being said, you will eat him alive.

With a Gen 6 from a dig as long as you get a good solid start as soon as he is one car length ahead you will go by him. Same from a dig, does't matter if he starts one car length ahead. If you are a good driver you will smoke him.
If it were a Gen 5, might be a lot closer.

Just get it on video when you decide to run out in Mexico or at the track, in a closed course environment I’ve taken mane ecoboost and bolt on V6 mustangs win no hesitation. Generally it’s an immediate walk/pull on them, when it comes to the 5.0s or any V8s for that matter they hang with me for a good gear then once I shift I’m gone.
