Car Shipping Recommendations?

I will need to purchase my ZL1 outside of my state - and according to locators looks like more than 400 miles from my state. So wanted to see what enclosed carrier car shipping company you all would recommend?

Thanks in advance.

Intercity Lines Inc is very highly rated with corvette guys. I have also heard great things about Plycar.

If I wasn't up in Mass I would do just that, but with weather/snow/salt I am going to have the car shipped and then put into garage until better weather. Just 60 more days until Spring!

Having been through car shipping hell a couple months ago, steer clear of uShip and websites of the sort. Stick with a higher end company that specializes in higher end cars. It will cost more but the stress and incompetency associated with these bigger shipping companies makes paying the extra coin tolerable.

I've had a great experience with Exotic Car Transporters and hear good things about Reliable Carriers....minus the Dodge Demon fire.

Be careful though. You can get high balled in this game. Plan the move as far in advance as possible so you can get some low bids in for your move.

The Demon fire was about the Demon, not the carrier. Rumor has it that it was passed by an Exorcist, and burst into flames.

You're wrong about that. It was a problem with the carrier. The guy that posted about being an employee from reliable has himself in some hot water because he's a liar. He never worked for Reliable.

I never did hear the latest on this. Is there something official out there stating what exactly happened with it?

The Exorcist rumor is gaining ground

http://www.thedrive.com/news/15683/a...ile-in-transit

"In relation to the recent fire that happened in a Reliable Carriers Inc. Trailer and burned 3 Dodge Demons. This incident is still under a forensic investigation by a fire investigator team in the state of Michigan. There were 3 Dodge Demons inside a trailer that sustained damage from a fire including heavy damage to one of our “Fully Enclosed” Trailers, along with damage to the Tractor.

Reliable Carriers “HAS NOT” released any information or any kind of reason saying the fire was caused by one of our trailers or the Dodge Demons. We have no information as to what caused the fire. The images being passed around on the internet have been shared without permission from Reliable Carriers Inc., and from the Fire investigators.

Reliable Carriers is very thankful no one was hurt during the incident and would like to thank all the ones involved getting the fire suppressed as quickly as they did eliminating any further damage to the vehicles or the tractor trailer."

Well, there has been several news sources that published a statement from Reliable about the fake post and also (from FCA) Fiat Chrysler’s head of passenger cars in North America, Tim Kuniskis, confirmed the three lost cars and said the truck caused the fire, not the 840-horsepower muscle cars
