So I've had this same problem for about 6 months now on my 2017 Camaro ZL1. The cars been to the dealer 3 times so far and going back this coming Monday. Already have a claim with GM, but i personally think the mechanic at the dealer doesn't have a clue. They replaced harnesses and checked the wiring but can't find the problem. The did find that steering was calibrated 7 degrees off, which they said they corrected. I'm taking it to a different dealer to see if they can't resolve the problem. I'm fairly confident the dealer hasn't looked at anything with the steering wiring or the steering control module (SCM). I know other ZL1 owners have had issues with this.

Symptoms- The car will give a power steering service warning and also stabilitrak service warning. The car drives fine and will only throw the warnings for about the first couple of miles of driving (no code to pull). After I shut the car off and restart it the warnings go away and the car is fine. I have noticed the car will tend to pull to the right, even though the car was aligned recently. Occasionally the warning will come on while driving when the car hits a large bump.

Any ideas on what it could be would be helpful. Thank you!

Sounds like a classic low-voltage situation. Stabilitrack is the first phantom alarm that goes off when batts are low. After sitting overnight, use a volt meter on the front hood terminals, it needs to be above 12.0

They replaced the alternator because apparently it was over charging and the battery check on the car was good.

This condition may be caused by an increase in resistance in the circuits connecting the steering position sensor and the EBCM due to fretting corrosion on the connector terminals.
Also, the male to female plastic connector may have excessive clearance that can cause the connector to move up and down.
