speedo is not off as its measured at the output sensor of the trans and the rear tire diameter did not change.

Haters don't Hate... Yes I put cheap wheels on my ZL1. My wife also drives it and if a wheel gets curbed bent or cracked I want to be able to just replace it and move on.

So if your looking for a cheap good looking set up for the street here it is...

The Wheels
https://www.nlmotoring.com/XXR-530-W...f-10%2E75=1694

The Tires
https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires...omCompare1=yes

(photos omitted for clarity)

Wheels XXR 530 19 x 10.75 +35 offset Rear and +15 Front.
325/30R19 on all four corners. The Firestone's give very good wet/cold traction and solid hot/dry traction.

I had this set up on my 13 ZL1 and the fronts poked out a bit. But on the New ZL1 with the wider fenders they fit perfect. I will say the tires come extremely close to the height adjusting collar on the front strut.

If you shop deals you can find this set up for $1600-$1700
Those look great! Definitely a good idea to have a "street set" if it's going to be a daily driver. I'll bet the wifey likes it a lot! ;-)

Congrats on the 1LE too. I'm anxious to see how the car and the new rubber compounds do on a road course.

Whoa! That's insane! How about some background info on these photos?

Is this your car? What was the driver doing when this happened? Was he running a modified power train?

Yes exactly - I too would like to know the context of how these pics apply here - other than also being wheels.

rota and xxr wheels are some of the ones i would never use on a auto x or track car as i have seen many posts on forums and social media about them but if you are just using them for street use i hope you will be ok! lol

Sick! Hey what offsets are/were you running on the 2013 ZL1? Got any more pics and did they poke out the fenders?

Thanks

Hey Tomster,

Thanks for the great post and advice. I am similar situation with my ZL1 1LE where i track and drive it. After researching your setup, I just ordered the same thing so now I will have stock rims (I will put the fire hawks on those for DD since those rims are heavier).

Then I have a set of Z/28 rims I picked up with Hoosier R4 slicks. Then I ordered another set of the goodyear stock tires (my original set are corded after 1.5 track days), which I will put on the XXR530 wheels for track. I tried both the hoosiers and the stock tires at the track...and I have to say...the stock tires actually felt better. The R4's are nice and sticky, but with a lot less forgiveness.

Thanks again for picking out a great buy!

Thanks for the info. I can't tell from the pics but do the wheels poke out from the fenders running those specs on the 2013 Z?

Thanks.

Yes the fronts "poked out" on the 13 Similar to if you had Z/28 wheels on. However I ran -2.5 camber on that car so it was less noticeable.
