Gotcha... So yeah, I went from 20"s basically brand new tires, to 18"s with no tread, and still gained.

^ I understand the impact of changing tire sizes on speed and revs. Cars determine speed based on the a pickup in the transmission. The transmission is connected to the tires and the engine and thus observes speed indirectly. Am I missing something?

I bought 4- 18" wheels with tires having 200 miles on eBay for $550 and $29 shipping from a private seller. New OEM takeoffs.

They just arrived. Great condition! Tires look new. 1 rim has 1 little scratch that probably happened at UPS shipping. Not very dirty at all. 4 like new tires and wheels for the price of 2 new tires!
